The funeral was held in our village church ST Mary & ST Bartholomew in Hampton-in-Arden in Solihull, over 300 people attended and there was standing room only, people were even gathered outside the church, He was then taken to Widney Manor Cemetry in Bentley Heath, Solihull, for the burial, The ROCKY theme music was played as he was led out of the church, which everyone smiled and laughed about.....as he always loved The Rocky Films(i'm sure he thought he was rocky!!!). His close friends had dog tags and cufflinks made especially. We also asked everyone to wear something pink as stephen loved the colour and was always brave enough to wear it.............unlike most of his friends(who thought it was gay!!!!) and it was something he would have wanted(to have the last laugh at his mates all now in pink).
